Is there an age limit to attend weight loss camp?

At Weight Crafters, we work with adults—ages 18 and older—and have had the pleasure of training people even into their 80s! Depending on your health history, current health, dietary needs and existing conditions, attending a weight loss camp / fat camp or wellness retreat or fat farm may prove extremely beneficial to improving your muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular fitness, bone density, heart health, immune system, general mood, and more!

Any client, young or old, must always get approval from their primary doctor before attending Weight Crafters. We also require that you speak with one of our admissions counselors to get an overview of our program, talk through your goals and expectations, and have all of your questions answered before signing up to attend.

Our first priority is your health and safety, but we truly believe that age is just a number. We have seen some of our older clients outwork and acheive better results than people who were years or decades younger.

Age is just a number—so give us a call to discuss your situation, and we'll see if attending Weight Crafters is the right fit for you!

Can I attend with arthritis or other joint complications?

There is no cut and dry answer for this - every situation is unique. In addition to getting approval from your primary care physician, you will need to discuss with us the specifics of your condition, situation, abilities and goals.

Getting active can actually help to ease the joint swelling and pain associated with arthritis, as well as strengthen your bones, muscles and joints.

Additionally, maintaining an active lifestyle with consistent exercise can reduce your risks of sustaining future injuries, and help you stay mobile and independent.

At Weight Crafters, we hope we can help you in this regard - but if not, we strongly encourage staying active to everyone.
