It's a lie, folks.

Several campers recently sent me the same forwarded message about an apparent update from Johns Hopkins regarding cancer prevention. On the face of it, the article looks believable enough to the average reader. 

I am not usually a skeptic, but something about this email seemed fishy, so I checked it out on  Snopes listed the email as untrue, noting that Johns Hopkins denies ever publishing it. 

If you’ve received this email, the advice inside will not necessarily prevent or cure cancer. The interesting thing however, is that many of the dietary recommendations listed are actually quite sound.
