When I tell most people about sprinting, the usual response I get is that they don't care about being fast, they just want to lose weight. They continue to trudge away on the treadmill or elliptical at a long, slow, slightly uncomfortable pace and then wonder why they aren't getting the results they want.
The human body needs at least 8 hours of sleep to function properly. As a society however, we have filled our schedules to the brim and expect to recharge our bodies with artificial fuels such as caffeine and sugary treats.
If you are not strong then you are not fit. It's a simple fact, but so widely misunderstood...
While in a life-or-death situation, it makes sense to shrug off any thought of being anything less than successful - however, what happens in the gym on a day to day basis is different.
It's time to change instruments. Change your tune. Tune out the negative parts of these people and become an agent for change.
If you have failed on your diet, fallen short on your workouts or simply got yourself in a bad pattern, start getting up and changing your situation...
